Condition:
Very nice used condition. The opening at the top has not been sanded down. This is normal and not a damage of any kind!
Holy grave balls
These balls were used at Easter to decorate the Holy Sepulcher in the church.
The church interior was only illuminated by small lights at the grave, which shone through glass balls filled with colored water.
Cobbler's ball
The cobbler's ball or cobbler's lamp is a glass ball filled with water which acts as a lens to focus the light of a candle.
